As part of the ongoing efforts by academies within the International Human Rights Network of Academies and Scholarly Societies (H.R. Network) to integrate human rights into their activities, the Committee on Human Rights of the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine now provides an online forum for the scientific community to become more involved with human rights.
This resource includes advice on lending expertise to human-rights projects, integrating human rights into teaching, highlighting the dangers of censorship and assisting colleagues under threat.
The Council of Finnish Academies is the Finnish member of the H.R. Network.
