Invitation: 40 years of collaboration for the advancement of international science

The Council of Finnish Academies celebrates the 40 years of collaboration between science academies in Finland by organising an open seminar. The seminar highlights the opportunities and success stories made possible by co-operation of science academies and their international partner organisations. We welcome you to the seminar and to participate in discussions about the benefits that science academy collaboration provides to science, society and the future researcher generations.

The official collaboration between Finnish science academies begun in 1976, as the predecessor of the Council, the Delegation of Finnish Academies, was formed.

The seminar takes place at the House of the Estates, Snellmaninkatu 9-11, on Wednesday 5 October at 16:00 – 18:00.
